Dhikr..

ALL praise is due to Allah, and may He render our Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) safe from every derogatory thing, and exalt his mention, and the mention of his household and Companions.

Bismillah

Whosoever desires to purify his heart will give preference to Allah over his base desires because the heart that clings to its base desires is veiled from Allah.

The hearts are the vessels of Allah upon His earth, therefore the most beloved of them to Him are those hearts that are most tender, pure and steadfast against deviation.

This is in reference to the hadeeth, “Truly, Allaah has vessels from amongst the people of the earth, and the vessels of your Lord are the hearts of his righteous slaves, and the most beloved of them to Him are the softest and most tender ones” [hasan. Refer to as-Saheehah (no. 1691)]

When the heart is fed with dhikr and its thirst quenched with reflection and purified from corruption, it shall see remarkable and wondrous matters and be inspired with wisdom.

Those who passed the limits beyond the bounds in their hearts and strayed chased after the temporary pleasures of this world. If they had preoccupied their hearts with Allah and seeking the Hereafter, reflecting upon the meaning of His Words and His Signs that are witnessed in creation, they would have returned to Allah.

May Allah help us in purifying our hearts for His sake and His sake alone. Ameen!
